Confidence and Self- Esteem

Are You Experiencing Conflicts at Work?

17/07/2025

Workplace conflict isn’t just annoying. It’s not just “part of the job.” It’s energetic. It’s emotional. And if it goes unaddressed? It becomes physical.

Here’s the truth I know deep in my bones from working in TV for 18 years (and from working with so many women in this space):
Everything is energy. And every experience we have — including that weird tension with a colleague, the passive-aggressive email from your boss, or being constantly overlooked or undervalued — moves through our energy field before it hits our body.

Let me break it down:

1. First, it hits the energetic body.

This is your aura, your field — the subtle space around you. When someone undermines you or you’re stuck in a toxic dynamic at work, it initially affects your energetic space. You might feel “off” around them. Drained. Anxious before meetings. That’s not in your head — that’s real energy disruption.

2. Then it seeps into the mental body.

You start looping thoughts. “Did I say something wrong?” “Why don’t they like me?” “What’s wrong with me?” Your mind becomes the battlefield. Your nervous system starts anticipating conflict even when it’s not there — hypervigilance kicks in.

3. Then the emotional body gets involved.

Now we’re feeling it. Resentment. Shame. Rage. Sadness. You cry after meetings. You can’t enjoy your weekend because you’re dreading Monday. You’re not just burnt out — you’re emotionally hijacked.

4. And finally, the physical body speaks.

That tight jaw? The neck pain? The exhaustion? The digestive issues?
That’s your body holding what your energetic system couldn’t clear. That’s unprocessed stress crystallising in your cells.

If it keeps happening — if the pattern repeats — you start to carry that energy as identity. You begin to believe, “Maybe I am the problem. Maybe I am too sensitive. Maybe I need to push through.”
But pushing through something that’s breaking your spirit isn’t strength — it’s self-abandonment.

So what can you do?

Energetic hygiene — clear your field. Cord cutting, grounding, salt baths, breathwork, whatever helps you shake off what’s not yours.

Emotional release — move it. Speak it. Write it. Feel it. The body stores what you suppress.

Mentally rewire — notice the stories you’re telling yourself about your worth. Are they even true? (Spoiler: probably not.)

Get support — this is not a solo job. The best thing I ever did was work with someone who could help me release stuck energy from my field and body. (That’s why I now do this work — because it changed my life.)

Hi, I'm Emma Ritchie

For years, I struggled with low self-worth, self-doubt, and a deep disconnection from who I truly was. I wore the mask, played the roles, and did what I thought I should do—but inside, I felt lost. It wasn’t until I turned inward and began healing the relationship I had with myself that everything changed.

Real transformation starts when you work at the level of your energy, emotions, and mind—because only then can your behaviours shift and your outer world reflect your inner truth.

Today, my greatest passion is helping others do the same. I support people to integrate all parts of themselves—the light, the shadow, the wounds, the wisdom—and to dissolve the layers of judgement, shame, and not-enoughness that keep them small.

When you shift how you relate to yourself, everything begins to align.
You step into confidence, clarity, and calm—inside and out.
You stop waiting for permission and start creating the life you were born to live.
You call back your power.
You remember who you truly are.
