When we think about changing our lives, most of us believe we need to do more. More study, more hustle, more effort, more searching outside of ourselves for the answers.
But the real transformation does not come from adding more. It comes from removing what no longer belongs.
If you are searching for a loving and passionate relationship, the shift is not in trying harder to find one. It is in asking yourself, What inside me is blocking me from allowing it in? What old stories am I still holding that say I am not worthy of love, or that love is hard, or that intimacy always ends in pain? When you clear those blocks, love has space to arrive.
If you are longing for more wealth, the path is not in burning out to make it happen. It is in asking yourself, What inside me is stopping me from receiving it? Maybe it is the belief that money is hard to earn, that rich people are selfish, or that no matter how much you make, it will never be enough.
I know this because I have lived it. I come from a long line of working-class coal miners in the North East of England. My family carried so many stories about money. That there was never enough. That money was for other people. That survival was the best we could hope for. And for years, those stories lived in my head like invisible chains.
It was only when I started to energetically move those blocks, those old beliefs and patterns, that something shifted. The moment I cleared space, new ideas began to flow. Opportunities arrived. Money started to come in with more ease. It wasn’t about adding more study or working harder. It was about removing what was blocking me from allowing abundance in.
Changing your mindset is not about building a new self. It is about remembering your true self, the one who is already whole, already worthy, already capable of receiving love, abundance, and joy.
So if you are searching for more in your life, stop asking what you need to do. Start asking what you need to let go of. The blocks are never out there. They are always within. And when you release them, life flows in ways more beautiful than you can imagine.
